Murder by Johnny Revolver

A savage Murder committed by even darker Hands. Metal and Leather straps; lethal jewelry.

Every now and then, one comes across a story, so compelling, so gripping, one has to keep on reading. This week, your editor, received a limited press release from a rather perverse character in British folk history. His name: Mr Johnny Revolver, a rather obscure fellow who was once linked to a series of particularly morose murders. His victims were found with a black chain around their neck and a black rose in their hand. The murders were remarkably black and stylish, a form of true savage Blackness, if you will. Johnny was a merciless man without morals or empathy.

One might ask oneself, what the designers behind this jewelry range for men, where exactly thinking? Henceforth, besides the obvious Edgar Allen Poe fascination here, what would compel a couple of innovative young entrepreneus, to name their line after a chap such as Mr Revolver? The answer seems to be quite straightforward, after one observes the detailed **mugshots** of the pieces below. Fishhooks, leather, straps, chains, black links and rubbed metals, are the materials chosen here, with as a result: a very subtle, well balanced, classic collection.

In my opinion, the pieces could do well, worn black-on-black, combined with a  classic white t--shirt, or perhaps contrasted with collection pieces from designers such as Damir Doma, Rick Owens and Julius. Henceforth, one might add, the real exclusivity of Johnny Revolver, is that the collection will be available early 2010, but one can already request pre-orders via their website!

So whenever you are feeling a little morose, perhaps even a little enraged by the grim sounds of the raging winter outside, do visit Johnny Revolver online.
