Karl Lagerfeld was spotted with a custom Chanel motorcycle outside the Chanel store on Rue Royale in Paris.
No, he did not ride it. The Chanel motorcycle was used for a photo shoot for the press kit for the 2010 pre-spring collection entitled Starting Point. The models in the shoot are Babtiste Giacobini and Lara Stone (read about Lara Stone in August issue of W Magazine).
I love the old-school styling and stripped black cafe racer look. Judging by the dual unmuffled exhaust tubes the sound of it is likely less than Chanel-elegant sound. Though claimed to be similar to the Low Rider ridden by Marlon Brando in The Wild One it only shares a few characteristica - though it is black.
