Hang it all on black

Vitra have introduced a special edition of three slightly more "adult" colour combinations of the Eames' famous Hang it All: a dark frame with Walnut balls, a black frame with black stained beech balls and a red frame with spruce balls.

Hang it all was originally designed to encourage children to hang their belongings on the festive rack with colourfully lacquered wooden balls. But for this christmas, Hang it all will be a little more “adult”. In collaboration with the Eames Office, versions have been designed to traget the wider audience. The Hang it all Special Edition will be available in storesaround the globe through February 2012.

Charles and Ray Eames are among the most important American designers of this century. They are best known for their groundbreaking contributions to architecture, furniture design (e.g., the Eames Chair), industrial design and manufacturing, and the photographic arts.
