Raphaël Charles uses an artifact in the production process to add make a good idea a great one.

The solid silver ring is dipped in black resin. But the real beauty of this ring is not in the concealment of the silver inside but in the congealment of the resin on the outside. Raphaël lets the congealing resin create a small droplet giving the ring its black 'gem'.

Simple, beautiful.
