Dutch designer Ineke Hans has made a really cosy collection of china called "Black Gold". From the looks of it, submarines has been a big inspiration.
She was educated at Royal college of Art in London and Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem and has recieved numerous awards and have had exibitions all over Europe and the States. Among the clients we find Swarowski and Habitat to name a few. Since 2002 she has been working on Black projects starting with Black Beauties, a childrens collection, trying to redefine the colour code for children. Then came the porcelain collection Black gold. Now she´s working on a Black Magic project, using new materials and tecniques, playing with associations of mixing "the new" and "the things we know"
At Stockholm furniture fair in February 2009, Ineke will attend as the guest of honor and show an exhibition on "Entrétorget"
