My black leather jacket.

For me, black is sexy, sophisticated and powerful.

I love putting together black in different shapes and silhouettes, natural materials and plasticy, fragile and sturdy, shiny and matte, in a mix and match. It gives a subtle yet  noisy and almost architectural aesthetic. But most of all, I love how black is the most versatile shade, it goes with everything, in every way.

My Favourite Black item has to be my black leather jacket.

It was a little too expensive, perhaps a bit impractical, being short and with short sleeves, but, I wanted a leather jacket for so long, and this was love at first sight. I wear it open, with the top button closed as an a-shaped jacket, zipped all the way up and zipped half way up so that the top edges drip a little.

Both Rock 'N' Roll and ladylike.
