My favorite black item is a pair of beautiful black trousers from the Selected Homme Bespoke Style collection that are inspired by a pair of vintage smoking trousers.
The trousers are from my Bespoke Style collection at Selected Homme and have a story attached to them.
They are inspired by a pair of vintage bespoke trousers that were ordered from a Copenhagen tailor by Medicine Student P. Fogh Andersen on 13 August 1935.
When designing the trousers for Selected I chose to recount the story of those original 1935 trousers and add a few updates in materials and cut.
