These shoes aren’t made for walking

Well who ever said they were? And if you can’t walk in them, just take a cab.

When we thought there would come a reaction to the never ending heels and platforms we’ve been seeing for quite sometime now, DO know that more is to come your way. And thank God for that. Why would any woman ever consider wearing  anything else? For S/S11 you ought to know better, climb one step closer to God and his holy Heavens, and hit the cobblestones in any of these wonderful creations. Jacobs, Pilati and Bailey sure nailed it again - but this we already knew. On the other hand, a happy little surprise came with the sense of a fresh new approach in the tendency of thinner, less and even non-existing platforms .  A woman, more elegant and sophisticated that we have seen in years is slowly working her way back to our new reality. Not to mention the fact that now, finally the wheat is to be separated from the chaff as it becomes quite clear (and interesting) to see who can really work their heels. Cause working 15 cm high platform-pumps is no biggy, but who’s the last woman standing, when the platforms are gone?
