Raquel Zimmermann is ambiguous for the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 09 campaign

Jean Paul Gaultier has experimented with masculine versus feminine in the ad campaigns for a couple of seasons now featuring both a male and a female model, but for this Fall 09 campaign Raquel Zimmermann posses for both sides.

The images shot once again by  Inez & Vinoodh transforms  Brazilian model Raquel Zimmermann into a two-sided character, playing on the French designer's concept of the subtle frontier between masculinity and femininity. The campaign follows the themes of the collection, which is based on unisex pieces which veer radically between masculinity and femininity, ranging from three-piece suits to chiffon dresses.
Placing a male and female model together against a gray studio background is quickly becoming a Jean Paul Gaultier campaign signature — it was that way with Daria Werbowy for Fall 2008, and an ankle-wrapped Lara Stone for Spring 2009.
