Photographer Hedi Slimane for French Vogue October 2008. It looks like Hedi Slimane could be turning permanently away from the design side of fashion for a life behind the lens.

Recently artists agency Art + Commerce announced that it had signed the designer-turned-photographer to its books. Slimane's penchant for photography, however, is anything but new. He has published nine photographic books - including Rock Diary earlier this year - and his work has appeared in magazines of the calibre of French Vogue and Vanity Fair. Model Anna Selezneva appeared in an editorial for Paris Vogue photographed by Hedi Slimane in the October 2008 issue. Slick and tailored styling that push the borders on the androgynous suiting, that hit the mainstream in the 80’s.
