Goth-Cowboy-Glam style is the thing for spring
Givenchy was founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy and since then they´ve had a lot of famous head designers such as John Galliano and Alexander McQueen. Riccardo Tisci is the creative director now and has made one of this seasons most talked-about collections and campains.
Audrey Hepburn was a huge fan of Givenchy. He made the world-famous black dress she wore outside Tiffanys in New York in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany´s". It was up for auction at Christie´s in London in 2006 and Givenchy bought it back again, so it´s safely back in their archives.
Riccardo Tisci was recently interwieved by Swedish television and told them that he sees the Givenchy woman as a woman who likes the dark and black, so that´s how he is trying to brand the new modern house of Givenchy like. He´s doing a fine job.
The Spring/Summer campaign is photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, featuring Lara Stone, Lakshmi, Mariacarla Boscono and Ana Claudia.
