Blackness by Damir Doma

Black. One can interpret it in many ways. Damir Doma surprised us with his personal interpretation. Sincere blackness meets elegant austerity.

After his very promising F/W09 collection, the highly anticipated arrival of the S/S10 Collection, shown at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, did not dissapoint at all. Doma continues to play with heavy silouettes, durable fabrics, opulent masculinity and the soul of his designs. In my opinion, this is a rather refreshing take on showing menswear. Henceforth, the styling of the collection and general feel of his designs, does not balance on the already cliche lines of androgenity. Here the essence is on shapes, thoughfulness and as Doma put it himself ''a fusion of body, spirit and mind''.
