Kate Moss checking in at Hotel Vuitton

Marc Jacobs turns out a fetish fantasy with a little help from model friends – including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell in the Louis Vuitton fall runway show at the “Hotel Louis Vuitton”.

The show for the multi-billion pound French luxury brand, Louis Vuitton, was staged in a massive black tent in the courtyard of the Louvre Museum. The tent, “Hotel Louis Vuitton” was all in black and surrounded by big black balloons. Inside a fleet of women dressed as chambermaids – white collars, black skirts, feather dusters–escorted editors and buyers to their seats and served coffee and champagne. The runway was more of a stage–a black glossy square with a set of three old-fashioned cage elevators at the center. All 67 models entered the runway from the elevators, which were operated, naturally, by uniformed older gentlemen who opened the door every time a model ascended. Kate Moss, who returned to the runway after three years break, was the surprise of the show, emerging into the lobby of Marc Jacobs’ Hotel elevator set for Louis Vuitton, wearing a short black bodysuit with fur sleeves and a pair of bondage-style leather lace-up boots. Kate Moss sauntered around the set with a cigarette hanging from her lip and attitude to spare, while the audience cheered on.
