Givenchy vs. Hannibal Lector

Riccardo Tisci really captured the essence of Givenchy in his SS2011 menswear collection. The fine lines and simple silhouettes added a bit brutality. Gothic inpirered male and female models, with a Hannibal Lector twist, illustrated the collection on the catwalk.

Givenchy SS2011 menswear featured a brand new item. As seen in a Hannibal Lector film the models wore leather masks and the rumors say that this mask is put into production. Overall the collection was a mix of different materials including white lace, animal prints and leather. The white lace of his layered shirts was actually a leopard print and the same leopard patterns were seen in his suit.

Riccardo Tisci has certainly left its mark on the strong collection and us here at SLAIIB can not wait to see the leather mask in use.
