Alexander Wang F/W 2011/12

Mr. Wang is an all time favorit designer. But for the two past season, his ready-to-wear has received a lot of mixed response. A lot of that response is because of the fresh colours of mint and yellow that has been on the runway and not a single piece of black.

But with his latest show in New York during fashion week, he once again proved that he belongs in the top.
This time Wang returned to black and of course we love it here at SLAIIB.

Long skirts, knit sweaters, bomber jacket-turned-poncho, boyfriend blazer-turned-fur coat, and a tuxedo jacket with puffer sleeves were what dominated the collection.
The combination of angora and satin is amazing. I would love to walk down the street in one of his fur coats and a long satin skirt. And I hope the next collection will be filled with lots of black pieces like this one.
