America is The New Black

"At this defining moment, change has come to America," Barack Obama, who will be the first African American president in USA. "In America anything is possible"

Obama, born in Hawaii to a white mother and black father, said his victory proves that America is a place where all things are possible. At this historical election day, the world woke up to a changed America. The American people has made a fundamental statement and proven democracy with bravery and determination.

Barack Obama initiated his speech in Chicago with these words, which as I heard them and saw his authentic face, made me wish I was American.

"If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer"

And later he added: "Even as we celebrate tonight, we know the challenges that tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our lifetime - two wars, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis in a century. The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. But America - I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there."

And therefore America is The New Black.
