Taken by The Storm

Intimate, authentic and striking. I was taken by storm last night at a small present concert with Danish orchestra The Storm.

"Some call our music rock, some call it pop, but to me it is just music", said singer and songwriter Pernille Rosendahl to her crowd at last nights concert. The small venue in the suburbs of Copenhagen only spaced a few hundred people and the outcome was an overwhelming experience of sound, voice and attitude.

Pernille Rosendahl and Johan Wohlert is the talented duo behind The Storm. They just released their third album Rebel Against Yourself, filled with sounds that touches my heart. Some of the numbers they played last night was from the new album, including the moving lyrics of Before Dawn and the major hit Lost in The Fire.

I was blown away by the sound of Pernille Rosendahl´s voice and the only thing i do not get about The Storm is why they have not had their great international breakthrough yet.
