Patti Jordan works with water, graphite and solvent to make dark and dynamic artwork.
Patti Jordan creates visual imagery through the manipulation of fluid materials. In the act of mark making Patti strive for a certain level of deliberation. When she Works in tandem with ink and solvent a conversation begins to develop, leading to new discoveries.
Patti earned her Bachelor of Fine arts, with Honours from Pratt Institute and holds a Master of Fine Arts from Montclair State University. Currently Patti exhibits at Watchung Arts Center showing “pictorial Constructions”. “Pictorial Constructions” present work from three artists who are all interested in the careful or improvisational assembly of elements to create dynamic and probing compositions in a variety of media.
