Karl Lagerfeld and Orrefors of Sweden

The Swedish glass company, Orrefors of Sweden, has collaborated with the designer Karl Lagerfeld on a new series of tableware.

Karl Lagerfeld has yet again collaborated with a company. This time it is the Swedish glass company, Orrefors of Sweden. “I hate to drink my diet coke in heavy glasses and cheap glasses, no, no, you know, part of the pleasure is the perfect lightness and the quality of the glass.”, Lagerfeld says of his motivation. They collaborated on a new series of tableware. The collection includes of champagne flutes, along with wine glasses and tumblers. In addition there are a few vases and bowls, each offering is available in black, clear and milky glass. They are all monogrammed KL for Karl Lagerfeld. “I saw this and nothing else”… I think it’s perfectly”, Lagerfeld says… The series is in store from September the 1st.
