At the big art Fair in Miami Art Basel, you could find this piece by Glenn Ligon. This neon piece that spells America has been paintad black on the front but not on the back, so it appears that the letters is backlighted by white light. As Ken Johnson from New York times puts it “It´s a neat metaphorical reversal of our nation´s historical racial landscape and an eloquent testimony to the poetic power of the well-formed object”
