Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said, “To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true”.

The photo shoot took place at Somerset House and was shoot by photographer Nick Knight. It was a three-week long process and more than 200 people helped, including the three cover stars.

Originally, they three stars should have been on the same cover, but the aging prima donna, Kate and Naomi insisted on having their picture retouched separately, resulting in three different covers.

“Then” Pre-Fall issue is for sale now, the "Now" issue will be out in the fall and the "Next" issue will go on sale in the spring.

Corinne Day is probably best known for bringing Kate Moss to the pages of The Face in the early 90’s where a half naked and unknown 16-year-old Kate Moss fools around on the beach.

The two had a close friendship and Moss became the head of the campaign "Save the Day", which means sales of photo prints raised approximately one million dollars to Corinne Days treatment. Unfortunately this was not enough.

She will forever be missed. Rest in Peace.

She has created a very impressive design that is simple yet with an edge, which is a very noticeable trademark of hers. With over 10 years of experience, and collaborating with brands such as PA:NUU, PILGRIM, SOULLAND and latest WACKERHAUSE, the Danish designer knows how to create for the perfect look.

The beetle collection consists of 3 various items, a necklace, a broche and bracelet. All made in 3 three different colours, silver, gold and black. The base being a stone which is framed by a metal frame formed as a beetle. The black beetle, being our fashion spot of this season as well as being the insect you would definitely envy not having on your skin.

In his interview, about the collaboration, he explains why it was important for him to make H&M to something luxurious, instead of making Lanvin accessible to a wider audience.

Lanvin will create a "Holiday Collection" for both men and women. The collection will be available in 200 stores worldwide from the 23th November 2010.

And from the 2nd November a preview of the collection be available at H&M's homepage.

Designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons, Madonna and Sonia Rykiel have all previously collaborated with H&M.

Overall the collection was a mix of different materials including white lace, animal prints and leather. The white lace of his layered shirts was actually a leopard print and the same leopard patterns were seen in his suit.

Riccardo Tisci has certainly left its mark on the strong collection and us here at SLAIIB can not wait to see the leather mask in use.

The collection experiments with geometric cuts and asymmetric lines, maybe as a reaction to general fashion talk about discretion, minimalism, pragmatic daywear.

A a luxurious combination of leather and knit, see-through fabric, zippers, sharp shoulders, tailored shorts and the signature David Andersen jackets dominated the overall look. A SLAIIB favorite was the opening piece of the show, a black leather biker jacket made in the finest calf skin, later accompanied by a black calf skin scarf. The great knits and cardigans added an every day wearable feeling to the more conventional one sleeved blazer.

The collection was overall impressive and David Andersen has a unique talent for making interesting menswear design.

'I create an image from synthetic material or clay, letting myself be led by thoughts, associations and emotions. What do I see in the shape, what sort of feeling do I get, what does it remind me of, what am I saying with this? And, is this what I want to make? Once the image is finished, I cover it either partially or entirely with a “skin” of a different material. The choice of skin depends on the image. In contrast to the spontaneity at the beginning of the work process, when I make the skin I work in a very structured manner. For weeks, with great patience and discipline, I cut, paste or prick, following self-imposed rules such as, 'all forms in the same rhythm' or 'all lines continue onward'. This precision, and the particular materials I choose, help to give my work its alienating yet sensual, tough yet vulnerable character.’

Nutty Tarts, Mrs Katriina Haikala and Mrs Vilma Metteri, have been working together since year 2007 and their goal have ever since been "to do things like they have never been done before". In this case things include design products, performances and artpieces.

"Hope, that we can spread the word of 'hairyness being the new black' even more!" they say in their blog. I am not sure about hairyness being the new black, but I do love these panties.

Isabella Blow was known to de the discover and close friend of Alexander McQueen and the muse of Phillip Treacy whos hats became a signature part of her flamboyant style.

After several failed attempts at the age of 48 Isabella Blow committed suicide in May 2007 due to a long battle with depression leaving her husband Delmar Blow a widower.

“It is sure to be a landmark auction, providing as it will a fascinating insight and perspective on this great champion of young designers and avant-garde fashion,” a Christie’s statement said.
